For the past week, Show Luo has been involved in a Scandal with a capital S.

The Taiwanese singer's nine-year relationship with Chinese influencer Grace Chow took an ugly turn when she publicly acknowledged their break up, and spilled the sordid details on his affairs in a Weibo post.

Taiwanese media then reported that Luo's mum was "livid" at Chow in response to private queries.

Additionally, rumours of the older woman's declining heath was also circulating online.

In response to the rumours, Luo has made his third statement since the saga started (the first was in reply to Chow, while the second was an apology).

He wrote in an Apr. 29 Weibo post,

"I would like to clarify that my mum is perfectly fine, and that she is very healthy and has no serious illness. Also, my mum did not accept any media interview previously, and neither has she said anything. Please do not attack my mum anymore. Thank you everyone."

In the post's comments section, a number of followers have agreed that it was not right to take aim at Luo's mum.

Otherwise, the general sentiment appears to be "Yes, we'll just attack you."
