Razer CEO Tan Min-Liang announced a new effort to manufacture masks in Singapore earlier on April 1, 2020.

Fully automated manufacturing line for masks set up in 24 days

On the Apr. 1 post, he had set a target of 30 days for the manufacturing line to be set up.

Did it with time to spare.

On April 24, he shared in a Facebook post that the fully automated manufacturing line has been set up in 24 days, 6 days ahead of the gaming company's initial target.

5 million masks per month to be produced, can scale up if needed

According to Tan's post, the facility will produce five million masks per month, and can be scaled up if required.

The masks will be fully certified to domestic and international standards, he added.

He initially targeted for the facility to produce two million masks per month, and more if necessary.

"Masks will go to Singapore and the SEA countries in the region that needs them," Tan said in his previous post on April 1.
