A man without a mask has been filmed going on a vulgarity-filled racist rant about Covid-19.

On Apr. 17, Facebook user Chan Amy uploaded a video of the incident with its location tagged at Pioneer MRT.

The video has since been shared 14,000 times.

In her caption, Chan wrote:

"Don't wear mask, we are not allowing you to buy things not because we want to hurt you! Our company does not gain anything either from refusing to sell! Instead, we are the ones who earn less! We also need to take care of the safety of other customers and staff! Taking care of you too! You still want to scold! Ethnic discrimination!"

What happened in the video?

The man could be heard on video shouting:

"What the f**k man? Eh f**k you la, you ask your f*****g president ah go to hell man.

(Woman voice: I put the Facebook.)

We forget to bring, just to forget to bring just to buy one buy one thing. Eh you Chinese ah, f*****g hell man. All the virus come from you guys la. F**k you Chinese la you."

The video then ends with the man walking away.

Since Apr. 12, it is mandatory to wear masks when visiting supermarkets, convenience stores, pharmacies, malls in Singapore.

There was no mention in the Facebook post if a police report has been made, but comments were left urging the matter be reported to the police.
