1,426 new Covid-19 cases in S'pore on April 20, 2020

The number of local cases remains low.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) announced that there are 1,426 new cases of Covid-19 infection on Monday, April 20, 2020.

MOH has preliminarily confirmed these cases.

This brought the total to 8,014.

The vast majority of whom are Work Permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.

The number of local cases has continued to decline, with 16 Singaporeans/ Permanent Residents among the cases today.

MOH said it is still working through the details of the cases, and further updates will be shared via the MOH press release that will be issued tonight.

The highest number of cases announced in one day was 942 on April 18, 2020.
