Yishun bridal studio & S'pore Cricket Club clusters now closed

4 new clusters were announced too.

Earlier today (Apr. 26), the Ministry of Health confirmed an additional 931 cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore.

The vast majority of whom are Work Permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.

15 cases are Singaporeans/Permanent Residents. 886 are Work Permit holders residing in dormitories.

The total number of confirmed cases in Singapore now stands at 13,624.

Closed clusters

On Apr. 26, MOH also announced that two existing clusters are now closed.

There have been no more cases linked to Singapore Cricket Club (A Connaught Drive) and The Wedding Brocade (1 Yishun Industrial Street 1) for the past two incubation periods (i.e. 28 days).

These clusters have now been closed.

The Singapore Cricket Club cluster had six cases, with Singapore's sixth Covid-19 death linked to the cluster.

The Wedding Brocade cluster, a bridal studio in Yishun, had three cases announced.

4 new clusters

Four new clusters were identified today (Apr. 26):

- Four of the newly confirmed cases are linked to 17 previous cases to form a new cluster at a company dealing with Shipbuilders & Repairer, Proptech Pte Ltd (38 Senoko Road).

- Six of the newly confirmed cases are linked to 18 previous cases to form a new cluster at 5 Kian Teck Crescent.

- 57 of the earlier confirmed cases have now been linked to a new cluster at 3 Sungei Kadut Street 6.

- Four of the earlier confirmed cases have now been linked to a new cluster at 133 Tuas View Square

On Apr. 25, seven new clusters were identified, including one at Northpoint City in Yishun.
