It's been over a week since McDonald's closed all its outlets islandwide.

For those who miss the McSpicy, a Singaporean claimed to have found a good alternative to satisfy your cravings.

Fried chicken thigh taste like McSpicy patty

One Nadiah Omar recommended a particular brand of frozen fried boneless chicken thighs which taste similar to McSpicy patties.

Nadiah bought the pack of chicken thighs from a wet market at Vista Point in Woodlands but she said it is available online as well.

Here's the recommended brand which is selling at S$9 per pack (original price) online:

Nadiah said that while it does not taste exactly like a McSpicy, the fried chicken thigh is delicious with the right amount of spiciness and juiciness.

Currently out of stock online

The item is currently out of stock and the online promotion has ended, according to the distributor, New Multifood.

However, the stock will be replenished in the next few days.

Mothership also understands that supermarket chain Sheng Siong has placed orders as well so you might be able to find this brand of fried chicken thighs at their outlets in the near future.
