A man who has been tested with Covid-19 was reported to have breached the circuit breaker measures by staying over at a friend's house.

According to the Chinese evening paper, Shin Min Daily News, the residents of Signature Park, a condominium near Beauty World MRT station, were informed about this incident via a notice put out by the management, Savills Property Management, on April 27.

The notice stated that a man managed to get past the security check and stayed over at his friend's house prior to being confirmed with Covid-19.

A resident told the reporter that the man had entered the condominium by car.

He was in the same car as the resident, a male tenant of the unit at Signature Park.

The man then stayed in the condominium for a few days.

According to the report, the condominium management has subsequently shut the side gate on April 28 and all residents have to show their identification cards and enter from the main entrance.

The condominium has undergone cleansing and disinfection.

Authorities have been informed and contact tracing is underway.

Mothership has tried to reach out to the management of Signature Park but they declined to comment on the incident.

We've also reached out to the Ministry of Health and will update the story accordingly.
