A small act of kindness.

Food delivery riders are getting busier due to the circuit breaker period, as well as the fasting month.

On April 26, a food delivery rider who goes by RayMe D. Nash on Facebook was at a coffeeshop in Tampines to collect orders to be delivered.

But he didn't just receive his customer's order.

Food for break fast

The man tending the shop, who RayMe believes is a migrant worker, packed some food for him to break his fast with.

According to his post, he initially declined to take the food.

However, the worker insisted for him to have it for his meal.

"People were gazing at me in awe but I accepted the food with open arms."

Help others in need

While he appreciated and was thankful for the kind gesture, he also reflected that people should not stereotype migrant workers negatively:

"You may never know that one day, the ones who will reach out their hands to you to help you or to offer their kindness, are the ones you look down upon."
