931 new cases of Covid-19 confirmed on Apr. 26, 15 are S'poreans/PRs

As of 26 April 2020, 12pm, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed an additional 931 cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore

The vast majority of whom are Work Permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.

15 cases are Singaporeans/Permanent Residents.

The total number of confirmed cases in Singapore now stands at 13,624.

MOH said that they are still working through the details of the cases, and further updates will be shared via a press release issued later tonight.

Daily increase

On Apr. 25, MOH announced 618 new confirmed cases.

The majority were Work Permit Holders residing in dormitories, totalling 597.

After four consecutive days of four-digit increases in new cases, the number of new confirmed cases in Singapore fell to three-digit increases on Apr. 24 and 25.

  • April 20: 1,426
  • April 21: 1,111
  • April 22: 1,016
  • April 23: 1,037
  • April 24: 897
  • April 25: 618

A single-digit number of cases involving Singaporeans and PRs (7) was also recorded on April 25.
