6 new Covid-19 clusters on April 23, 4 are dormitories

A total of 11,178 Covid-19 cases.

The Ministry of Health confirmed 1,037 new cases of Covid-19 infection on April 23.

6 new clusters

Six new clusters in Singapore were also announced, including four dormitories.

The details of the clusters are as follows:

  1. Cluster at Blue Stars Dormitory (3 Kian Teck Lane), where there is a total of 11 confirmed cases. Two of the cases were confirmed today.
  2. Cluster at Hulett Dormitory (20 Senoko Drive), where there is a total of 25 confirmed cases. One of the cases was confirmed today.
  3. Cluster at Seatown Dormitory (69H Tuas South Avenue), where there is a total of 26 confirmed cases.
  4. Cluster at Woodlands Dormitory (27 Woodlands Sector 1), where there is a total of 32 confirmed cases. Two of the cases were confirmed today.
  5. Cluster at 12 Loyang Drive, where there is a total of 26 confirmed cases. 13 of the cases were confirmed today.
  6. Cluster at 59 Sungei Kadut Loop, where there is a total of 11 confirmed cases. Two of the cases were confirmed today.

Updates on April 23

In total, Singapore has reported 11,178 Covid-19 cases as of April 23.

Case 8190, a 46-year-old male Indian national, passed away today after he was found motionless at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

He was confirmed to have Covid-19 infection on April 19, and had been warded at the hospital since.

Police investigations into his death are ongoing.
