On Mar. 20, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Enterprise Singapore (ES) issued an advisory to retail establishments in Singapore detailing stricter safe-distancing measures to limit local transmission of the Covid-19 virus.
Retail stores have been advised to remove testers and samples to reduce customer contact.
Sephora at Suntec City appears to have complied with the advisory.
When Mothership visited on the afternoon of Mar. 22, most, if not all of the samples have been removed.

For those who are not familiar, testing the products, or "swatching", sees many customers coming in contact with the same product.
This commonly occurs with unwashed hands.
Hands, arms, eyelids, or even lips are some places customers test the products on.
However, some make-up stores, including Sephora, offer cleaning swabs and/or applicators for the testing of lip products.
The shop was almost empty on that particular Sunday afternoon.

Similarly, Watsons at Suntec has removed all their make-up samples:
Beauty junkies can spare the trip and shop online then.
