SAFRA Mt Faber's restaurant bar closed until Mar. 27 after patron tested positive with Covid-19

Editor's note on March 24, 5:40pm: We've amended the article to reflect that the patient visited on Mar. 11. The patient was not tested positive on that day and the date when the patient was diagnosed with Covid-19 is not known. 

SAFRA Mount Faber confirmed on Mar. 22, 2020, that one of the visitors of Turandot Music Restaurant Bar located at SAFRA Mount Faber has tested positive for Covid-19.

The patron had visited the establishment on Mar. 11, 2020.

SAFRA Mount Faber announced on Facebook that a visitor who patronised the Turandot Music Restaurant Bar on March 11.

According to the statement by SAFRA, the management was informed on Mar. 22 and made the decision to close the outlet for disinfection.

The premises will be cleaned and disinfected according to NEA guidelines, as stated by SAFRA Mount Faber.

The restaurant bar will reopen on Mar. 27.

On March 22 2020, SAFRA was informed by the Ministry of Health (MOH) that a patient diagnosed to have the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) had visited Turandot Music Restaurant Bar located at SAFRA Mount Faber on 11 March 2020.

While MOH has not placed any operations restriction, as a precautionary measure, the management have decided to close Turandot Music Restaurant Bar upon receipt of the notice from MOH and the premises cleaned and disinfected according to NEA guidelines. Turandot Music Restaurant Bar will re-open on 27 March 2020.
