Royal Carribean Cruises cancels cruise trips on Mar. 16 & April 2020, offers refunds

Guests will get refunds for the cancelled trips mentioned in the press release.

In a press release by Royal Carribean Cruises Pte Ltd, the company announced cancellations of their cruises for Jewel of the Seas as well as Quantum of the seas.

Cancellation due to Covid-19 & port closures to cruise ship travel in some countries

According to the statement, the March 16th sailing for Jewel of the Seas, as well as all April sailings for Quantum of the Seas have been cancelled.

The company cited the Covid-19 and port closures in some countries in its statement:

Due to developments related to coronavirus (Covid-19) and port closures to cruise ship travel in some countries, we have made the decision to cancel our March 16th sailing for Jewel of the Seas, as well as all April sailings for Quantum of the Seas. Guests will receive a full refund of their cruise fares.

The statement mentioned that guests will receive a refund of their cruise fares for the cancelled Jewel of the Seas Mar. 16 sailing and April sailing for Quantum of the Seas.
