The coronavirus outbreak is bringing out the worst in some people.
Take, for example, the experience of a Singaporean in London who was left with facial fractures after he allegedly took a beating from some people who abused him verbally.
And another allegedly racist attack was posted to Instagram page Asians With Attitudes on Mar. 1:

It is not clear when the video was filmed.
Splashed, attacked, and laughed at
An Asian man is shown standing on the street smoking; by every definition of the phrase, minding his own business.
The camera gets closer to him and seconds later the unsuspecting man has a bucket of water thrown over him by another hooded man.
Pausing from the shocked for a moment, the Asian man then turns around and starts chasing the hooded man who flees onto the road.
The video then abruptly cuts to footage of the Asian man, now wearing a coat, chasing the hooded man along the pavement and onto the road.
At least two different voices can be heard laughing hysterically and narrating the events.
"He fast," says one of them as they watch the Asian man in pursuit.
The video cuts once more to the Asian man and the hooded man squaring up against each other.
The hooded man then throws a punch at the Asian man's face, sparking a physical altercation.
The ensuing struggle sees the hooded assailant fall backwards onto the floor, and the Asian man grabs his ankle and begins to drag him along the ground.
While this is going on, another person standing on the pavement takes the opportunity to aim a kick at the Asian man.
All the while, the persons behind the camera are cackling at the Asian man.
The caption of Asians With Attitudes' Instagram post suggested that the Asian man had been attacked because of "racist mentality" stirred up by the Coronavirus outbreak.
"At least the Asian man chased his ass and fought back," the caption read.
New York City's first case
According to Next Shark, the incident appears to have occurred in New York City.
The city is currently bracing itself for the virus to spread after confirming its first patient on Sunday (Mar. 1).
The New York Times reported that the woman, who lives in Manhatten, had tested positive for the virus after returning from a trip to Iran.
"Community spread is going to be real,” said Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo at a news conference, alongside Mayor Bill de Blasio. “That is inevitable."
Commenters and a UFC Fighter respond
Meanwhile, commenters on the Instagram post were not impressed with the bullying they had witnessed:
Asian American and former-UFC fighter Andre Soukhamthath also commented, challenging the bullies:
