A motorcyclist was conveyed to Changi General Hospital (CGH) after his motorcycle rammed into a sedan outside of Rivervale Plaza.

YouTube user Wackijo posted a video of the accident on Mar. 10:

In the video, which was shot by a camera mounted on another motorcyclist's helmet, a motorcyclist can be seen turning into Rivervale Lane.

About five seconds later, a loud bang was heard.

The motorcyclist who was filming uttered, "Oh sh*t!" as he turned into Rivervale Lane.

The earlier motorcycle had rammed into a dark blue sedan, which was turning out from Rivervale Plaza's drop-off point.

The collision dented the sedan's right door and the right side of its hood.

As the cameraman dismounted from his motorcycle to survey the scene, the sedan's driver stepped out of his vehicle.

The both of them walked around the accident site to where the motorcyclist landed, about four metres away.

The motorcyclist, who was wearing helmet, laid on the ground while clutching his chest.

Thankfully, he was still able to respond to the people around him.

According to the sedan driver, the motorcyclist was travelling at a high speed, and the driver not see him approaching.

When contacted by Mothership, the Singapore Civil Defence Force confirmed that they were alerted to a road traffic accident along Rivervale Drive at about 5:45pm on Mar. 10.

SCDF added that one person was conveyed to Changi General Hospital.

Commenters on the YouTube video generally agreed that the sedan driver wasn't too careful when turning, and the motorcyclist was moving too fast.
