A man has been found dead at MacRitchie Reservoir on March 12.
Found dead at the scene
Police told Mothership that they were alerted to a case of unnatural death at Jelutong Tower in MacRitchie Reservoir on March 12, 2020 at 6:52am.
A 50-year-old man was found lying motionless at the foot of the tower.
He was later pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic.
A screenshot of a Facebook post was previously circulated on messaging apps, saying that a dead body had been found at the tower, and that the tower has since been closed off.
Jelutong Tower is a seven-deck observation tower that overlooks the area. It is typically frequented by visitors and birdwatchers.
Police investigations are currently ongoing.
