K-pop singer Goo Hara passed away last November at the age of 28.

Her death comes a little over a month after Sulli’s death.

Sulli's was a fellow K-pop idol and also Goo's close friend.

Goo has been close to her elder brother, Goo Ho In, since both their parents divorced when they were young. They lived with their relatives after the divorce.

Goo's brother reportedly begged his sister over text messages to not think negatively after Sulli's death.

In return, Goo replied that she loved him and asked him not to worry.

That, however, did not prevent the tragedy from happening.

Goo's brother hopes she reborn as his daughter

Goo's brother recently announced in an Instagram post that he's having a daughter after two years of marriage with his wife Seohyun.

That post also went on to remember his only sister.

Goo's brother remembered that Goo looked forward to having a niece or nephew when she was alive, as she used to say that she would do anything for her first niece or nephew, including sending them to college.

Goo's brother added that, at Goo's funeral, he had hoped for Goo to be reborn as his child, and he would love her wholeheartedly since they had grown up without parents.

It felt like his prayer came true when he found out about his wife's pregnancy a week later.

In his Instagram post, Goo's brother posted the ultrasound of his daughter.

He added that he will name his daughter "Harin", as suggested by his late sister.
