This still begs the question: How did the crayon end up there?

How did it happen?

After his Facebook post went viral, many people left similar questions on his page.

Here's his answer to the burning question:

In an interview with Australian parenting website Essential Kids, Brown shared that he was going to the toilet to have a shower before his son's baseball game when he noticed two crayons on the floor.

"Instead of picking them up, I went to kick them out of the way."

But that didn't go exactly as planned.

While one crayon flew to another direction, the green crayon apparently hit the transition bar on the floor before it pierced his foot.

When that happened, he screamed in pain while his wife told him to sit down.

He said: "I explained to her that there was a crayon in my foot!"

The family then rushed off to the hospital and according to Brown, even the doctors and nurses were surprised.

"The doctors and nurses couldn't believe it. It was definitely a first for them."

Fortunately, the doctor managed to remove the crayon from his foot and stitched up the wound.

Brown is feeling "fine" now, but this should teach him to pick up the crayons instead of kicking them away.
