Thailand recently confirmed 11 cases of Covid-19, the single largest daily jump in Thailand.

Further details provided by the country's Ministry of Health revealed that all 11 were from a gathering of 15 people.

According to Khaosod, the 11 confirmed cases shared drinks and passed around the same cigarette.

There was also a person from Hong Kong at the party, but he has already left Thailand as of the Covid-19 update.

According to Reuters, the Thai nationals, all in their 20s to 30s, socialised and shared drinks on at least two occasions in late February.

Thailand currently has 70 confirmed cases, with one death.
