In a circular sent to residents, the management of City Square Residences condominium complex announced that a visitor in the estate was confirmed to have been infected with Covid-19.
Urged residents to stay calm
In its circular sent on Mar. 18, 2020, the management urged its residents not to be "unduly alarmed", adding that they have taken necessary precautions as advised by the National Environment Agency (NEA) to sanitise all common areas with disinfectants.
The management did not specify when the visitor was last present in the premises of the estate.
It is unclear when the visitor was confirmed to be infected with Covid-19 as well.
Additional precautionary measures
As part of the management's precautionary measures, the management has suspended the use of the swimming pool and gym facilities until Mar. 31.
The management explained that the measures were taken to enhance social distancing measures within the estate.
As such, the swimming pool area has been barricaded and the gym closed until further notice.
The management added in its circular that a further announcement will be made closer to Mar. 31 regarding the use of common facilities in the estate.
