The past few weeks have seen fear grip many parts of Singapore.
Emptier streets, emptier establishments, malls with dramatically fewer people.
And while there appears to be some shortage in footfall still, things appear to be normalising somewhat.
A picture of the balance we face in navigating this new landscape of caution and fun was captured in a photo taken at a Zouk party.
Here it is.
With Facebook page Tiagong picking up on the image and making it viral.
Comments were generally lighthearted, with some commenting that clubbing must go on regardless of fear. Comments also noted the man on the left appears to be rather dehydrated.
In fact, this lady was not the only one partying the night, but not her life, away.
Other pics from the same Zouk album on Feb. 25 showed some other masked clubbers, possibly the girl's friends.
The pictures were apparently taken on Feb. 19.
Here's the full album.
While not as visually distinct as surgical masks, some other party-goers at Zouk have taken to clubbing with stylish masks as well.Point being, yeah go on with life, have fun, be safe.
