The Ministry of Health (MOH) announced today (Feb. 4) that a patient who was previously diagnosed with the Wuhan virus has been discharged.

This patient, a 35-year-old Wuhan resident, was Singapore's seventh patient.

"He has recovered, and has been comprehensively tested negative for the virus," said MOH, adding that the patient was discharged from the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) today.

Patient visited Marina Bay Sands

He arrived in Singapore with his family and friends on Jan. 23., and stayed at the Marina Bay Sands (MBS).

The 35-year-old man subsequently developed symptoms on Jan. 24 and went to the Raffles Hospital.

He was transferred to the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) by private ambulance on the same day.

He tested positive for the virus at 11pm on Jan. 27.
