No new Wuhan virus cases identified in S’pore for 2nd day in a row

There have been no new cases of the Wuhan virus reported as of Feb. 3, at 2pm, announced the Ministry of Health (MOH) today (Feb. 3).

As of February 3, 12pm, 262 of the suspect cases have tested negative for the virus, and 18 have tested positive. Test results for the remaining 32 cases are pending.

None of the 18 previously announced cases are critically ill. All of them remain in stable condition, and most are improving.

As of February 3, 12pm, MOH has identified 256 close contacts. Of the 187 who are still in Singapore, 186 have been contacted and are being quarantined or isolated.

Efforts are ongoing to contact the remaining close contact.

There were no new cases yesterday as well.
