In the race against coronavirus (Covid-19), many healthcare workers are sacrificing family time to care for infected patients and prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Didn't get to see mother for the last time

The Chinese media reported that a nurse working at Huoshenshan Hospital, Wu Ya Ling, was informed of her mother's death via a video call from home.

Huoshenshan hospital was built in 10 days after local hospitals were overwhelmed by the number of infected patients, and had been running out of beds and resources.

The news came as a shock since Wu's mother, who lived in Kun Ming, had been healthy.

Nurse bows 3 times to pay respect to her late mother at hospital

A clearly devastated Wu cried uncontrollably behind the surgical mask as she bowed.

The video showed Wu bowing three times in the direction of Kun Ming to pay her respects to her late mother.

Wu then calmed herself, got her composure back and resumed work.

The video showed her putting on gloves for another colleague as they updated about their work at the hospital.
