There was a recently some hoo ha made of a cruise that had trouble finding any place to dock.

The MS Westerdam, a cruise ship owned by Holland America Line, was stranded across Asia for nearly two weeks after being turned away by Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, Guam and the Philippines.

It was finally able to dock at Cambodia.

However it later turned out that one of their passengers was confirmed to have the novel coronavirus during a check in Malaysia.

Two of the passengers in the cruise ship are apparently Singaporean.

Earlier today (Feb. 17) at a doorstop interview about the implementation of stay-home notices, Minister for National Development Lawrence Wong commented on the status of the two Singaporeans who had attended the cruise.

Wong told the media that the two passengers are serving quarantine at home.

"We are not allowing any other passenger from The Westerdam to come into Singapore, or to transit through Singapore," he added.
