Many Singaporeans have banded together to shower medical workers with love and support after learning about some of the negative experiences they had encountered in public spaces.

The forms of support include treating them to food and drinks as well as penning down notes of appreciation for them.

Candid shots showing hospital staff's reactions to surprises

On Feb. 20, Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) featured an album of photos depicting candid reactions of the TTSH staff when they received flowers and thoughtful notes from volunteers and members of the public.

It's not just the medical workers who received such pleasant surprises, but also other TTSH crew such as cleaners and security guards who also worked tirelessly during this period.

The photos are also evidence of how hospitals are not all gloom and doom but a place filled with warmth and hope.
