Covid-19: 2nd Bangladeshi worker & Filipino unlinked case among 3 new discharged patients

Total number of discharged patients now at 69.

A second Bangladeshi national has been discharged from the hospital on Friday, Feb. 28, after recovering from Covid-19.

The first Bangladeshi patient to be discharged on Wednesday, Feb. 26, was case 56, a 30-year-old man with no recent travel history to China.

Three Bangladeshi patients from the Seletar Aerospace cluster of cases remain in hospital.

Two other patients were discharged on Friday as well.

Case 79

Case 79, a 35-year-old Malaysian woman working in Singapore, who is a family member of Case 72, a 40-year-old male Chinese national who is also a work pass holder in Singapore with no recent travel history to China.

Case 89

Case 89 is a 41-year-old male Singapore Permanent Resident, which MOH subsequently confirmed to be a Filipino citizen, with no recent travel history to China.

As of Feb. 28, his is still an unlinked case.

Prior to hospital admission, he had gone to work at Affinity Equity Partners (S) Pte Ltd located at 8 Temasek Boulevard.

He also visited Bishan Community Club (51 Bishan Street 13).

He stays at Serangoon Avenue 3.

The three cases bring the total number of discharged patients in Singapore to 69.
