Coronavirus: 35-year-old S'pore PR who works at RWS Casino & lives in JB among 2 new cases

He stays in Johor.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced two new cases on Feb. 11, 2020, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Singapore to 47.

One of these cases (Case 46) is a 35-year-old male Singapore PR.

He has no recent travel history to China.

He lives in Johor, and is currently warded in the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID).

He had reported onset of symptoms on February 5, 2020, and sought treatment at a general practitioner (GP) clinic on February 9.

The man was then transferred to Tan Tock Seng Hospital via an ambulance on the same day, and was immediately isolated.

Subsequent test results confirmed the coronavirus infection on the afternoon of February 10.

Prior to hospital admission, he had gone to work at Resorts World Sentosa Casino (8 Sentosa Gateway).

According to their website, RWS has been monitoring the coronavirus situation closely.

They have also increased the frequency of disinfection across the resort.
