In the midst of all the doom and gloom of the novel coronavirus outbreak and with many secluding themselves at home, sometimes it's good to pause and simply enjoy the scenery.
Lucky sight across Tanjong Rhu
A woman, Priscilla Ng, came across a rather magnificent sight, when she spotted a huge rainbow arcing across Tanjong Rhu.
Ng told Mothership she had spotted the colourful phenomenon at around 4:40pm after a downpour, and had captured the shot from Centennial Tower at Marina Centre.
In her photo, the rainbow can be seen nicely sweeping across the skies above the expressway and Marina Bay.
Here's another shot.
More rainbows around Singapore
And it seems Ng wasn't the only one who managed to spot the lucky sight.
Numerous people around the island have posted photos of rainbows to social media, captured in the last hour at places such as City Hall, Buona Vista, Bukit Batok and Bukit Timah.
Singapore has been experiencing downpours for the past few days, and the rainbows come after numerous torrential showers in various parts of the island.
