An employee of a tenant at One Raffles Quay South Tower has been confirmed with Covid-19, according to a circular seen by Mothership.
The circular, which was addressed to the building's tenants, said that the management was informed of the confirmed case on Feb. 20.
"The employee had last visited the tenant’s premises on Feb. 10. The tenant has thoroughly disinfected their premises and the building operations team has taken immediate steps to disinfect and sanitise all common areas of One Raffles Quay South Tower in accordance with MOH and NEA guidelines."
The circular added that said tenant has been on split operations since Feb. 11 -- one day after the infected patient visited the office premise -- so fewer of its employees have been in the building.
The facilities management of One Raffles Quay added that it has been operating at the "highest level of precautionary measures" including:
- High cleaning frequency of the common areas, lift lobbies, lift cars and toilets
- Temperature screening of individuals entering the building
- Restricted access to the building for high-risk individuals
- Deployment of hand sanitisers at all lift zones
- Daily purging of air from the building
