You may have heard of Oliver Nordin from his "blind man" prank videos which made the rounds on Facebook in 2018.

But besides horrifying/entertaining innocent passersby with his antics, the Swede is actually a globetrotting professional parkour athlete.

In his recent journey through Asia, Nordin made a stopover in Singapore from Feb. 12 to Feb. 23. after cavorting through cities in Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.

Parkour Paradise

Our densely-built environment, filled with ledges, slopes and "fancy gardens", delighted the freerunner so much that he called it a "Parkour Paradise."

"Every space has been built with the physically impaired people in mind, so they have both staircases and ramps which creates extra opportunities for us doing parkour," said Nordin.

You can watch the first-person perspective video of him hurtling through our HDBs here:

In the video, Nordin made some heart-stopping leaps at Swissotel the Stamford at City Hall and Singapore Sports Hub.

In this other video, Nordin also teetered along the edge of Singapore River near the Grand Copthorne Waterfront hotel and Elgin Bridge.

But his most impressive stunts are usually made inside our residential estates, as he vaults across railings, walls and ledges.

See if you can spot your neighbourhood in his videos!

Not his first run

Nordin also visited Singapore almost exactly a year ago, in February 2019.

Here he is stunting at a multi-storey car park and over a sheltered walkway.

Meeting up with the locals

Besides gleefully tumbling through our heartlands, Nordin also met up with local parkour enthusiast Koh Chen Pin, also known as Denester.

The two met at Parkour Singapore's free-of-charge monthly jam event held at Yishun, on February 23.

Impressed by the locals that turned up at the event, Nordin remarked that "Singapore also have a great parkour community with a lot of boys and girls training in different ages. They are all friendly and helpful."

Super cool.
