NUH staff infected with Covid-19, related to S'pore's Case 66

On Feb. 18, a 38-year-old staff from the National University of Hospital (NUH) was confirmed to have been infected with the coronavirus (Covid-19)

She is the 80th confirmed case in Singapore.

Works in administrative function of NUH

According to MOH, she works in an administrative function of the hospital and had not interacted with patients since the onset of her symptoms.

Patient 80 had no recent travel history to China.

She is currently warded in an isolation room at the National University Hospital.

Related to Patient 66

According to a press release by the Ministry of Health, she is related to Patient 66 who is linked to the cluster at Grace Assembly of God.

Patient 66 is a 28-year-old male Singapore Citizen with no recent travel history to China. He is currently warded in an isolation room at NCID.

He reported onset of symptoms on Jan. 20 and had sought treatment at a GP clinic on Feb. 2, Feb. 5 and Feb. 12. He was referred to NCID on Feb. 12. Subsequent test results confirmed Covid-19 infection on Feb. 14 morning.

Prior to hospital admission, he had gone to work at Grace Assembly of God, and attended church services at God’s Kingdom Bread of Life Church.

Apart from Patient 80, Patient 66 is also related to Patient 68 and Patient 70.
