Shoppers clean out Mustafa Centre of hand sanitisers, disinfectants & antiseptic wet wipes

Looks like it *doesn't* have everything after all.

Mustafa Centre, the land of everything, is unfortunately, lacking in hand sanitisers at the moment.

A trip to the sprawling emporium on Friday, Jan. 31 was met with disappointment as the shelves that stocked hand sanitisers, alcohol swabs, disinfectants, and wet wipes -- basically an entire range of Dettol products and a bit more -- are now empty:

For a brief moment of joy, we thought we found the last bottle of alcohol disinfectant.

But the 70 per cent isopropyl alcohol was also 70 per cent empty.

Bottles of Dettol's liquid antiseptic for medical first aid and personal hygiene were still available at Mustafa though.

No face masks on shelves; get them at the pharmacy counter

These shelves used to hold boxes of face masks:

Face masks can no longer be found on the shelves because it seems that Mustafa Centre has implemented a limit of one box per customer.

Each box of 50 pieces goes for S$10.

Shoppers have to queue at the pharmacy counter to get it:

Staff at the pharmacy counter also confirmed that they have no more stock for hand sanitisers.

And they could not confirm when the next batch is arriving.

Guess we'll just have to stick to washing our hands with soap and water.
