Apparently, Singaporeans really love their McDonald's.

So much that the McDonald's outlet at Sun Plaza made the global top three ranking in terms of the most deliveries done in one day.

An image of a global McDelivery leaderboard went viral on social media, and Singapore featured prominently on the list.

Surprisingly, this was still far below the outlet that took the number one spot on the rankings, an outlet in Corniche Park, Pakistan, which delivered 2,405 orders in one day on Sep. 21 2019.

In terms of the most deliveries done in one hour, Singapore's ranking was not shabby either, with an outlet labelled "Sun 2" delivering 109 orders in an hour on Sep. 15 2019.

It is unclear whether this Sun 2 outlet is the same outlet as the McDonald's outlet at Sun Plaza.

The same outlet in Corniche Park, Pakistan also reigned supreme in this category, with a staggering 250 deliveries on Sep. 21 2019.

According to The Jakarta Post, who spoke to McDonald's Indonesia about the authenticity of the rankings, the viral image is in fact legitimate.

"The data is valid, although it was only issued for internal use. Until now, we do not know who made this photo viral," said Sutji Lantyka, associate director of communications for McDonald's Indonesia.

The Simpang Dago McDonald's in Bandung, Indonesia, also made the global top 10 rankings, with the fourth most deliveries in one day.
