Mandopop singer and former "Project Superstar" runner-up Kelly Poon is now engaged.

On Feb. 24, the 36-year-old posted an Instagram photo of her fiance holding her left hand, which bears a diamond ring on her ring finger.

Along with the photo, Poon wrote a cryptic caption with the Roman numerals "XXIIIIIV" and a #RKXX hashtag.
The Roman numerals might be hinting at Poon's wedding date on March 4, 2021, and the hashtag appears to be an acronym of Poon and her fiance's first names. "K" for "Kelly" while 'R' could refer to Poon's fiance, Roger Yo.
According to Taiwanese media, Poon is engaged to Taiwanese music producer, 37-year-old Roger Yo, who has worked with many celebrities such as Tiger Huang, A-Lin and S.H.E.
Yo was the one who wrote A-Lin's greatest hit "Give me a reason to forget" ("給我一個理由忘記").

Poon has been rather low-key about her relationship with Yo but she did post some snippets of their interactions on Instagram stories.

Apparently, it took Poon and Yo one year for their friendship to develop into love.
The couple has known each other for two years, Shin Min News Daily reports.

According to ET Today, Poon said in earlier interviews that the guys she had dated in the past were all younger than her.
She also revealed her ideal type as someone who is taller than her, with both talent and a good heart.
Prior to her relationship with Yo, Poon, who has been based in Taiwan for many years, mentioned that long-distance relationships had been tough on her, Shin Min reports.
Among her previous relationships, four of her former boyfriends had cheated which made her afraid to fall in love again and decided to remain single for five years.
Poon also said that her anxious mother often used to pester her sister about her relationship status.
Now that Poon is happily engaged, her mother can finally stop worrying about her.
