i Light postponed

The annual light art festival was scheduled to be held at Marina Bay from Mar. 6 to 29, 2020.

The postponement is in line with the Ministry of Health's advisory to cancel or defer non-essential large-scale events, following the announcement of Disease Outbreak Response System Condition (DORSCON) level Orange in Singapore.

Representatives from i Light also added that this measure was taken as some of the featured artworks and activities during the event will require visitors to come into close contact with other individuals or the artwork.

Furthermore, the current situation has also caused some of the featured artists to encounter some delays in fabricating their artworks.

The new dates for i Light will be announced in due course, said organisers:

"The artists whose artworks have been selected for i Light Singapore 2020 will be invited to present their works when we identify a suitable date to bring back the event for all to enjoy."
