One woman took to Facebook to share a negative experience her daughter had with a Grab driver.
The Grab driver had allegedly driven her daughter to a dead end, and then asked to take her home.
On Feb. 3, Ellis Phua said that a police report has been made.
Eventually drove to a dead end
According to details in the police report, her daughter booked a Grab at around 10:20am.
The pickup point was 184 Pasir Ris Street 11, and she was heading to Yio Chu Kang Swimming Complex.
The driver had allegedly missed the exit and went on to the SLE, where he then took the Lentor Avenue exit, only to go back on to the expressway.
Eventually, he drove to a dead end near Ang Mo Kio St 64.
While driving towards Ang Mo Kio St 64, the driver allegedly asked if she was "free" and "had extra time". He also allegedly asked if he could take her home.
According to the police report, the driver claimed that he was from Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
Did not drop her off at the location
After the woman insisted that she had to go to school, the driver eventually apologised and told her to get off the car along Ang Mo Kio St 64.
She placed the money on the seat as she did not want to have any "further contact" with him.
According to a screenshot from the app, their trip took 36 minutes.
