Fearing the spread of the novel coronavirus, some people in Singapore have taken to the extremes to protect themselves.

But it's not just Singaporeans who are experiencing anxiety.

Nervous about flying to KL

Hong Kong actress Florence Kwok recently shared a video on her Instagram showing off her protective gear.

Seen donning a surgical face mask at Hong Kong International Airport, the 51-year-old wrote that she has never felt so jittery about flying to Kuala Lumpur.

Full gear, ready for flight

In the next post, she was observed to be fully covered with a shower cap, rain poncho, gloves and goggles.

In case you're thinking, "Wow that get-up must be really warm" -- she's got that covered as well.

In her post, she's seen holding on to a portable fan spewing mist to help to cool her down.

While a few comments highlighted that Kwok is overreacting, many expressed support for her efforts in taking extra precautions.

There are over 40,000 confirmed cases of the coronavirus (2019-nCov) all over the world.

Malaysia just announced its 18th case today (Feb. 10) and Hong Kong currently has 36 confirmed cases.
