Amore Fitness & Boutique Spa put out a Facebook post informing their guests that a patient with a case of Covid-19 had visited their Bugis Junction premises on Feb. 11, 13 and 16.

Their post, dated Feb. 22, stated that the patient was discharged from the hospital on Saturday (Feb. 21) after recovering from the infection.

Amore said that they will continue to operate as per normal, "as this is an isolated case". They said that they have thoroughly cleaned and disinfected all surfaces and equipment in all outlets.

Daily temperature screening will continue to be conducted as well.

MOH contact tracing

Amore also submitted the necessary information to the Ministry to carry out contact tracing.

This includes people such as staff and members who visited the outlet within the specific time frame, and who may have come into contact with the member.

They said that members not contacted by MOH "need not worry about their recent visits to the outlets".

Amore also clarified that it is not necessary for members to be on home quarantine unless advised by MOH to do so.

They added that they will continue to seek advice from MOH on the best course of action to take, and will be monitoring the situation closely.

Members wished to be notified earlier

From their Facebook post, it is unclear when they were notified of the confirmed case.

And in response to this, some members said that they should have been informed of this fact earlier:

In their Facebook post, Amore said that anyone with additional queries should send them a direct message.
