F&B businesses in Singapore have been affected by the coronavirus outbreak, as members of the public are inclined to stay at home instead of dining out.

In response to queries by Mothership, a spokesperson for the restaurant revealed that business has dropped by 30 per cent.
Hotpot, a popular dining option in Singapore, came under the spotlight when nine members of a Hong Kong family were infected with Covid-19 after sharing a hotpot and BBQ meal.
The Ministry of Health previously said that cases of local transmission were likely due to respiratory droplets and physical contact.
This can include large droplets of saliva or phlegm.
In response to the outbreak, staff are able to provide extra sets of common utensils for all diners upon request, the spokesperson said.
The Paradise group has also implemented daily temperature screening for all staff and stepped up on hand sanitisation.
Staff are also required to wear a mask, according to the spokesperson.
