New clusters at the two Grace Assembly of God branches has prompted the church to cancel service and activities at both branches.

The other Church that has been affected by the Coronavirus, The Life Church and Missions Singapore, has also suspended services.

City Harvest Church (CHC) is also taking precautionary measures in the face of the Covid-19 outbreak.

The megachurch has a sizeable attendance, according to The Straits Times, CHC has a congregation of about 16,000.

Sun Ho, wife of CHC's founder Kong Hee, announced the measures in a Facebook video on February 13, 2020 at around 10pm.

Here it is.

Here is what the Facebook post says:

"While we honour the gathering of the saints, your safety is also our utmost concern. As such, we will be implementing alternative arrangements for our Weekend Services til the end of Feb, as we continue to monitor the situation with COVID-19.

Instead of sessions held at Suntec Halls 601-604, Weekend Services will be streamed online via our website and The CHC App during our regular timings: 5PM on Saturday and 10AM on Sunday. Our Chinese service will also be streamed at 10AM on Sunday.

You may worship with us in the comfort of your home, but do be on time, as you can't back track or fast forward the clips as you wish!

There may be disruptions to our regular programming, but let's remember that God is still in control. Now is not our time to lose heart, but to keep our connection with God and one another more alive than ever! #chcsg"

Other megachurches such as Heart of God and New Creation, doesn't appear to have announced any similar cancellation of physical services as of this article.

However, they have implemented precautionary measures in line with the Ministry of Health’s advisory.

Which includes cautioning members to not attend services if they or their children have recently returned from mainland China, or are in close contact with a recent traveller.

Or if they or their children are feeling unwell and experiencing any flu-like symptoms.

Other measures implemented by some megachurches include temperature checks and enhanced cleaning.
