In the wake of the Wuhan virus scare, some Carousellers have taken the initiative to provide free masks to those who need them.
Carousell put up this Instagram post on Feb. 1, highlighting four users who are giving face masks away for free.
Carousell user @ilovesingaporesg is giving away one free mask each to the elderly, children, and those who are unable to purchase masks outside.
As of writing time, her stock of 3-ply masks is running low, but she added that she has 2-ply masks in stock.
Interested parties can collect the masks at Anchorvale Road.
"As a Singaporean, I think we should share kindness around," she told Carousell.
Another user @unclemoneymany is offering two pieces of face masks per person, if they self-collect at Kensington Park condominium.
User @carwerkz.com is also offering two free surgical masks to anyone as long as they self-collect from Joo Seng Road.
"We want to do our part to help the community in need and to inspire more people to lend a helping hand during a crucial time," he said to Carousell.
If you would like to receive free surgical masks on Carousell, you can find these listings in the Free Items category in the Carousell app.
