Covid-19: Case 56 the first Bangladeshi patient to be discharged in S'pore

Four more Covid-19 cases have been discharged on Feb. 26, including the first Bangladeshi worker in Singapore.

They are cases 49, 56, 59 and 73.

First discharged Bangladeshi worker

Case 56 is a 30-year-old male Bangladesh national with no recent travel history to China.

This makes him the first out of five Bangladeshi patients to be discharged.

He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on the morning of Feb. 13, and was warded in an isolation room at NCID.

This means that he was in the hospital for 13 days.

Linked to Seletar Aerospace Heights cluster

He is linked to the cluster at the Seletar Aerospace Heights construction site.

This cluster includes four other cases (Cases 42, 47, 52 and 69).
