With the spread of the Wuhan virus intensifying, Scoot has announced that customers with flight bookings to and from China, Hong Kong and Macau on selected dates would be given a refund, or an option to re-book or re-route their flight, with no change fee.

The airline also announced the cancellations of all flights between Singapore and Wuhan until the end of March 2020.

Affected passengers would be refunded the unused portion of their itinerary in full, according to Scoot.

Valid for flight bookings made before Jan. 28, and travel till Feb. 29

Customers with flight bookings to and from China -- excluding Wuhan, Hong Kong and Macau made before Jan. 28 2020, and travel period till Feb. 29 2020, will be given an opportunity to change their travel plans.

They can choose to re-route to another Scoot destination, or to re-book the flight for a later date with the same origin and destination, with the new travel dates up to May 31, 2020.

Scoot will waive the change fee in these cases, although the fare difference still applies, and flights are subject to availability.

In addition, customers can also seek a 100 per cent refund of the unused itinerary from Scoot, via the original mode of payment.
