If you're craving for real Belgian waffles, getting your fix is about to become a lot more convenient.
Singapore Airlines (SIA) will be launching non-stop flights to Brussels, starting on Oct. 25, 2020.
Brussels is the capital of Belgium, and is home to the Council of the European Union (EU).
The non-stop flight is expected to take 13 to 14 hours.
Brussels is dubbed EU's capital city
SIA will be operating the Airbus A350-900 on the Brussels flights, and there will be four weekly flights, subject to regulatory approval.

Brussels is also known as the EU's capital city, and is also home to the secretariat of the Benelux Union and the headquarters of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO).
"We are excited to launch services to Brussels -- a city that is both an important economic and political hub in Europe. This also represents SIA's commitment to constantly expand our network reach and provide our customers with a more seamless travel experience," said SIA in a media release dated Dec. 16.
Tickets for the new Brussels flight will be made available from Dec. 17.
SIA's Brussels flight is a re-launch
For those with a keen memory, SIA's new Brussels flight, is in fact, not entirely new.
Prior to 2003, SIA operated flights to Brussels, according to aviation writer Sam Chui.
However, the route was terminated at the peak of the SARS crisis.
By May 2003, a total of 358 out of 719 scheduled frequencies were suspended, and services to six destinations, including Brussels, were cancelled permanently.
Although capacity was back to pre-SARS levels by the end of September 2003, the Brussels flight remained terminated until now.
