While many Singaporeans are getting ready for Christmas celebrations, another traditional festival is on its way.

The Winter Solstice Festival will take place on Dec. 22, 2019, a Chinese festival where observers eat glutinous rice balls also known as tang yuan which symbolise reunion.

But here's a delicious twist on the traditional recipe.

Limited-edition Skippy peanut butter-flavoured glutinous rice balls have recently been launched in Taiwan on Dec. 4.

Each packet, containing 10 rice balls, is selling at NT$69 (about S$3.10) at all Family Mart stores.

According to reports, there will be no restocking once the product is sold out.

For Singaporeans who are interested, you can also get it via Airfrov at an average cost of S$8.

Food vloggers who have tried the rice balls say that they are quite savoury and contain peanut bits.

Yums.
