The CEO of health foods delivery service YouFoodz, Lance Giles, was recently heavily criticised for a video he filmed making fun of Asian people.

His fiancée, Jordana Stott, subsequently uploaded the videos to her Instagram account.

These videos were posted when Giles and Stott -- who both hail from Australia -- were in Singapore to attend the Global Restaurant Leadership Conference on Nov. 4, 2019.

In the background of the videos, Stott could be heard mocking Asians at a restaurant in an exaggerated accent.

In another incident, the video showed a group of Asian women taking a selfie together inside a rooftop swimming pool.

Stott proceeded to ridicule them, saying, "Oh yeah get it c*nts! F*cking get the photo! Oh f*cking yeah shi shing, yeah shi shing!", in what appeared to be a mockery of Mandarin.

CEO said this was an "isolated incident"

Following massive backlash, Giles apologised for the videos.

He said in a statement to the Daily Mail: "Watching this back makes us feel pretty lousy. What we thought was light-hearted is unpleasant and not funny."

Giles assured that this was an "isolated incident", and "does not portray the way we feel or act on a day-to-day basis".

Stott has deleted the videos from Instagram.

Giles' company YouFoodz, which ironically, reportedly promotes "wellness and togetherness", has products that are sold in major supermarket chains in Australia.

The company is reportedly worth £250 million (S$435.6 million).

Woolworths Supermarkets, which sells some of YouFoodz' items, has reportedly launched an investigation into the company.

A Woolworths spokesperson said: "As a business, we deplore racism in any form."
