Reporting sexual harassment is a brave step for victims, who would have to recount the traumatic incident.

But the experience was allegedly made even more harrowing for one Twitter user @carb_baby, who claimed that she was victim blamed by the police officer she was speaking to.

Allegedly victim blamed while making police report

Her tweet, which was posted on Nov. 2, said that she was making a report on sexual harassment.

The police officer allegedly told her that she "shouldn't even be at a bar".

The officer also allegedly lectured her about "dressing properly so as to not tempt men".

This is her tweet, which has since gone viral with over 1,500 retweets.
