Creepy.

Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., or T.I. as he's more commonly known, is a 39-year-old rapper and actor.

He also has children.

It was his parenting methods that cast him in the spotlight recently.

He showcased a behind-the-scenes look at his fatherly ways on a podcast, Ladies Like Us.

In the podcast, T.I. talked about how he often accompanies his daughter, 18-year-old Deyjah to the gynaecologist to check her hymen.

He recounted how he had pasted a sticky note on Deyjah's door after her 16th birthday with the words "Gyno tomorrow 9:30" written on it.

When the hosts brought up the fact that someone can break their hymen through other physical activities, T.I. brushed that possibility aside.

"I said look doc, I said look doc, she don't ride no horses, she don't ride no bike, she don't play no sports. Just check the hymen please and give me back my results, expeditiously."

He also revealed the 'good news' that as of her 18th birthday, her hymen was still intact.

T.I. also acknowledged that the doctor-patient confidentiality might throw a spanner in his hymen detective work, but says he gets around it by making his daughter sign some forms that apparently waived that right.

Wow.

Here's an excerpt of the podcast.

In the same podcast, according to Daily Mail:

'I don't want any of my children to have sex before it's time for them, but who's to say when it's time?' he said.

'However, I will definitely feel different about a boy than I will about a girl. And that's just the God's honest truth. I don't think there's any father out there who'll tell you any different.'

Negative reactions

Reactions to a man accompanying his daughter on annual gynaecologist visits and making her the doctor tell him if her hymen was still intact went about as well as you'd expect.

With some calling out what they saw as hypocrisy in how he treated his son.

And how his daughter is apparently responding to the situation.
