The Noose, a satirical news show, is one of the most popular Singapore comedy series in recent memory.

Every episode, The Noose highlights an actual newsworthy incident with a humorous spin.

The series created many characters that have left quite an impression on Singaporeans' minds such as Leticia Bongnino by Michelle Chong, Andre Chichak by Alaric Tay, Jacques Ooi by Chua En Lai, Jojo Joget by Suhaimi Yusof and See Yan Yan by Judee Tan.

Good news for fans of The Noose, they appear to be making a return soon.

Three years after the end of its ninth season in 2016.

The Noose is back

The Noose cast has hinted at a return of the series via their Instagram posts on Nov. 4.

Tay, Chua, Tan and Suhaimi have posted some behind-the-scenes footages showing that they are in the midst of a shoot.

Tan posted an Instagram-story of her getting her hair styled.

Chua also posted an Instagram-story which shows Tan and Suhaimi reading their scripts while he whistled Chinese New Year songs in the video.

While the exact date of return is not announced yet, maybe that's a sign you will get to watch The Noose over Chinese New Year perhaps.

Suhaimi issued a challenge to surpass the number of episodes of long-running drama series Kin which is now on its 277th episode on Toggle.

In the background, one can see Tan in a flamboyant lime green festive outfit looking at Chua, who is holding a small lion dance mascot.
